Junior/Senior High School - Academics
The secondary division of Fourth Baptist Christian School builds on the solid foundation given our students in the elementary programs. The standard course of study is college preparatory in nature, offering a wide range of electives in both academic, fine arts and extracurricular areas. Secondary core course requirements include Bible, English, science, history and math. Physical education is required through the sophomore year. Foreign languages, including Spanish and German, are offered in the senior high. Fine Arts electives include band, choir, and handbells. Art, Industrial Arts, and Woodworking are required in the junior high and are offered as electives to senior high students. Computer Applications, Consumer Math, Practical Recordkeeping, Journalism, Creative Writing, and Yearbook are examples of other senior high electives.
